Hibernian Place
The vision for Hibernian Place, 480 Hay Street is to become a destination activating the East End of the city and creating a precinct incorporating the Westin Hotel and a 22 level office tower. It will provide a destination for CBD workers, residents, Greater Perth and tourists.
Hibernian Place is uniquely positioned in ‘The Historic Heart’ precinct within the East End of Perth’s CBD between St Georges Terrace and Royal Perth Hospital. The destination will be the centerpiece of a new era for Perth’s East End – introducing one of the world’s top five-star hotel brands, the Westin and a collective of unique hospitality offerings for locals and visitors within 200 meters of five global hotel brands and in turn over 2300 hotel rooms. In addition to this it is estimated that there will be over 300,000sqm of office space in the catchment.
Lease Equity were engaged to provide retail consultancy and master planning advice including curating a vibrant and exciting tenancy mix while assessing the commercial viability of Hibernian Place.
We were then appointed as Leasing Agents engaged to secure first to market and bespoke operators as the retail mix was designed as a key attractor to the development. The development was fully leased upon opening in mid 2018.
In January 2020, Lease Equity were appointed as Managing Agents for the new owners, Starhill Hotel (Perth) Pty Ltd.
