Fred Clohessy has left CBRE after 14 years to take up a new position at Lease Equity where he will be a director responsible for retail leasing.

Lease Equity managing director Jim Tsagalis said the appointment of Mr Clohessy, who was responsible for some of WA's biggest leasing transactions after introducing international brands such as Nespresso, Zara, Topshop and luxury jeweller Tiffany to the CBD, would strengthen Lease Equity's position in Perth's retail property market.

Mr Clohessy, previously associate director, retail services at CBRE, also has extensive experience in project leasing and recently headed the project retail leasing at the Fiona Stanley Hospital and Carramar Village Shopping Centre.

"Fred's experience and knowledge is well aligned with our culture and strategy of employing the industry's best real estate professionals," said Mr Tsagalis.
